Former Poplar police chief adjudicated
The former police chief of Poplar, Chad Arnold Hilde, age 43 has entered into a deferred prosecution agreement and agreed to pay a $500 state fee over the illegal killing of four moose on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in 2008.
He was born in Glasgow on Jan. 25, 1953, the son of Peter and Betty Ruffatto. He farmed around Poplar, Wolf Point and Brockton.
