Intoxicated motorist crashes into c.....
An intoxicated motorist drove his vehicle through a locked gate at the Jewish Cemetery on Spruce Street Thursday night and destroyed multiple headstones, city police said.
Richard J. Rauer, 77, of Broadalbin, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 19, 2009, at the Stone Hedge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Rome, N.Y. He was born November 22, 1931, in Gloversville, the son of the late Frank and Rose Rauer.
The Broadalbin-Perth Central School District has sold the former Hamilton-Fulton-Montgomery BOCES Alternative High School building to a Broadalbin couple interested in developing senior housing there.
