Campaigners who want to reopen the derelict Whiteladies Picture House in Bristol are asking for people to share their memories of the cinema.

Tom Brokaw's searching discourse on the increasingly elusive American dream is titled "The Time of Our Lives," but it might also be called "Grandpa Tom's Common Sense Recipe for What Ails America." Grandparenthood and family are recurring themes in the book for the 71-year-old Brokaw, who will make two appearances Tuesday in the Twin Cities.
SD gov recognizes wildlife interns as heroes
Gov. Mike Rounds on Friday said he has commended two summer interns with the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks for rescuing an 83-year-old woman whose car was on fire near Bristol.
