Fort Howard's stately buildings have fallen into a state of disrepair over the years while waiting for the attractive waterfront site's fate to be determined.

Some time ago, I published a blog post about the proposed development of the Ft. Howard VAMC property. Back then, it was about Bayside at Fort Howard by the Federal Development LLC, but now a new developer has been chosen; because the former developer made a mess of the deal with the VA - and the VA made a mess of the deal with the developer. My blog post, except for the name of the developer, still accurately tells of the concerns of veterans, Ft. Howard area residents and VA employees about the proposed development of Ft. Howard VAMC. The blog post is at: http://davidrobertcrews.blogspot.com/2007/02/...
