Firefighters have had a busy year, forced to deal with all the damage the tornado left behind.

A resident's complaint to the state Ethics Commission about two town councilors is the latest development in what has become an increasingly tense atmosphere in the town and surrounding area as the battle for a casino in Western Massachusetts heats up.
