Army vet to speak at Gibson Cemetery
U.S. Army veteran and longtime East Central High School teacher Bill Owen will be the speaker at this year's Memorial Day services at at the entrance of Gibson Cemetery, Bright, at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, May 27.

A 10-year-old girl in Bright, Ind., has been suspended from Sunman-Dearborn Intermediate School because she colored her hair with Kool-Aid. Her father says he's tried every home remedy to get his daughter's hair back to her natural color, but without success.

Woody's Hot Rodz of Bright, Indiana, just west of Cincinnati, Ohio, was awarded the Chip Foose Award of Design Excellence at the Grand National Roadster Show this past weekend in Pomona, CA.
