Bridgeport students create murals for library

I think that this is a wonderful experience and teaches the children to do something positive and it is a positive influence on these kids, something that they need in their lives in this day and age. Thank you so very much Bridgeport Students your work is greatly appreciated more than you will ever know.

Just a thought. It maybe could happen around here. Didn't Dr. Scott Sheppard used to teach stain glass classes? Something to do with the Depot Days, once a year or something. Used to put a sign in the middle of 72 advertising it. Hmmm!

It would be great if someone could organize something for the kids to paint a mural on. It would lend ownership and maybe if the kids made it they would help take care of it. Or maybe if they planted one of those vacant lots in town with a flower garden and some seating...maybe a tree for shade. Then they could put a half wall around the garden and paint a mural there. Good stuff for kids. Start a nickle collection.

yes patti i did know that it was in oregon, and all the same they are setting an example for children here as well, it would really be nice if someone would let our kids do a mural at our library, further more John, why do you have to be so negative patti was right those were the ones that should have been led to do something constructive and not destructive, but with negative people like you still around i can see why they would not do anything for the good of humanity.
