Big & Rich Take Break From Touring

Hope Kenny makes a speedy recovery. Have seen them 2 times in the last nine months. These guys are awesome. Would go to see them more. Moving to Nashville soon hope tp be seeing them there.

They are playing at Texas Motor Speedway (I think this week) so apparently they changed their minds. I adore them! However, I can't stand car racing, so will miss them this time.

Hope Kenny feels better -- I heard a rumor that they were breaking up, but hope it was the matter of them taking some time off.

They are a PERFECT pair. Their music is magic!

Big and Rich broke up. They are all done. They can't stand each other any more.

They did not break up!! John is doing a solo project this year while Kenny recovers from a neck injury, and they will be back as a duo in '09.

It's funny you should say that. I know for a fact Kenny can't deal with John anymore. They put up with each other because there is so much money in touring & records. They don't hang out at shows and only talk if they have to. John is a different person then he once was. His ego is out of control! I knew him when he was a solo artist and as soon as he was getting a name for himself it was like everything changed, he changed! I heard him say on his bus one time that everything he touched turned to gold. I knew then this was a different John Rich.

They Have broke up people. I'm in the buisness here in Nashville and they will not tour again.

i don't think Big & Rich are breaking up i think they realize the impact it will have on their fans but i agree with Jem that there doesn't seem to be quite as much "bang in their ying yang" when the hang out together they seem more distant and yes john's ego has gotten bigger i remember a time when it was hard to have an interview with them because they were always teasing each other and joking and now they just sit and talk and barely even look at each other. i don't know about you but i want the old big & rich back the ones who didn't care what anyone thought of them and how much money they were getting, the ones who just wanted to have fun.

unfortunately it seems they are breaking up. Jimmy Carter announced it on his radio show today. It seems that radio wasn't playing their music anyway.
Still they have lots of fans including me who thinks they won't be as good seperately
as they are together.

According to the radio station i just listened to, they interview John and he said that they are not breaking up. Kenny just needed a break to get himself better and watch his son grow up. John will have a single out within about a month. And Big & Rich will have a new record out at the end of '09. They are NOT breaking up!!

They are done! My friend sells t-shirts at these shows and those two take different tour busses to the shows, they dont talk and their final show was in WI over the weekend. I also heard,(this may be rumor) that Kenny punched John, and it ended up hitting him in the neck, really injuring him. Something crazy like that..........

Dang I thought they took two different buses because kenny takes his family with him. I dont know how true that rumor is but i thought they were working on a new album together suppose to be out next year. i know i have heard a couple of new songs from each of them .i know they are both doing there own thing right now while kenny is getting better. hope the rumor ain't true they are both great guys and both has done such great things for country music.

It's funny that you say you are in Nashville and Yet you are listed as being In illinois. Please Enlighten me on that.

I am personal friends with their manager, and he stated to me that they are NOT breaking up! They are taking a year off for personal reasons. John is giving a go at the solo thing he's always wanted to do, and Kenny is needing a good amount of time to actually let his back heal. Heck as much stomping and jumping around as he does I'm sure it only added the the pain. Have no fear, Fall of 2009 they will be back with new music and new tour! Be patient! THE FREAK PARADE will return and be better than ever!

They should just ride off into oblivion.
