This is not surprising. Cops don't seem to have the best morals. more police die by their own gun than by a criminal's. Alcoholism and divorce rates are far higher for them too but, Shhhh dont tell anyone, we wouldnt want to undermine their authority.

I know a little more about this than most-an elderly lady with dementia (& a lakefront home in Bratenahl) was a victim of undue influence & exploitation. She was manipulated and deceived into selling her house that was not for sale to some guy for a mere fraction of its actual value. When this elderly woman's family found out what happened they reported it to the Bratenahl Police. The chief never got the evidence to prosecutors or followed up on the investigation so the family of the elderly lady got the FBI involved & that's why the chief got investigated in the first place.
