The Town officials did the right thing. The irrational objections from a few residents were overcome with facts and a rational decision was made to a reasonable request. Now the handicapped, elderly and mothers with small childern can use a prescription drive up window at a pharmacy for convienience sake. Braseltons high development standards assure that this area retains a high quality appearance and continues to be a desirable place to live, work, and play.

I am moving to Braselton and quite happy to see that this passed. I agree with the above poster. Now those that are typically hindered or restricted from easily exiting and entering their vehicle will now have easy access to medication for themselves and their family. I am still amazed that there was any opposition to this at all. Those few residents living in Chateau Élan that opposed the drive through will be the first to use it. They will be so thankful for the drive through on the day when thunder storms or freezing temperatures hit the area and they have to refill their Prozac & valium prescription and don’t wish to expose themselves to the elements.
I thank the Council and Mayor Graham for realizing the needs of those citizens that are handicapped, elderly, parents of small children and those in poor health by now giving them the ability to have easy access to medication.

It is going to be a great looking commercial building. I don't understand why there was such a huge a fuss over it. Folks in Chatrau Elan have lost touch with reality. They are just plain mean.

They are just plain mean. What this did show was that the Braselton City Council, City Manager Scott as well as Mayor Graham are in touch with the needs of the citizens of Braselton. They were not bullied nor swayed by a few self centered individuals’ whose agendas were not representative of what is best for the community as a whole. I have no reservations at all that those that objected to the drive through will be the first to utilize the efficiency and benefit of having it. If they don't it will be proof enough of the absolute intolerance and objection toward the elderly, handicapped and small children these few people harbor.

The great thing about Braselton is that everyone gets to have a voice in the process. Those that don't like a durg store on the corner will certainly perfer that to a dollar store or auto parts store. Could have been much worse. Town Council did great on this one!
