Roll call was taken. Members present were Commissioners Paul Bosch, Chuck Parsons, Bob Serk and Todd Stone. Also present were Alderman Roger Brooks City Administrator Bryan Read. Absent were Members Tim Jorgenson, Linda Weber and Mayor Larry Beesley. Commissioner Bosch moved Commissioner Stone seconded to approve the agenda with the addition of discussion on temporary signage. Motion carried. Commissioner Parsons moved Commissioner Stone seconded to approve the consent calendar which contained the following items: a plat of Country Gables Estates First Addition Lots 5A and 6A; and a plat of Tallgrass Village Lot 9B Block 1. Motion carried Commissioner Serk moved Commissioner Bosch seconded to approve the minutes of the May 15, 2014 regular meeting. Motion carried. The Bluffs Addition - next phase, preliminary layout was presented for discussion. Concerns with the north culdesac being over 500' in length. No action taken. Temporary signage - current City Ordinance allows for 10 day placement/$10 permit fee. Needs to be enforced. Building permits were presented for May - #14-93 - #14-133. No action taken Comprehensive plan - Toby Brown, SECOG was present for discussion. Commission members went over the draft that was presented at the last meeting. At 7:12 p.m. having no further business, Commissioner Stone moved Commissioner Bosch seconded to adjourn the Planning & Zoning Commission meeting. Motion carried.
