School board member charged with assault

Full story: WVLT-TV Knoxville

A Bradford Police Department news release cited by The Jackson Sun states 49-year-old Mark Hampton was cited for assaulting TSSAA game official Donny Joyner in the Lobby of Bradford High School.

Not quite sure what you're trying to insinuate. The officer that left was offered another job and simply decided to accept it. He was not involved in this case in any way. Apples and alligators, my friend.

What was irrelevant to you was not cryptic to me; I had not heard about one of our officers changing jobs; or actually positions in the force; nor about the resignation of an officer to take another job in a different town (?). It was interesting to learn of this; albeit, a weird tidbit for this type forum. However, read this news today in the local rag. Congrats and good luck to the officers!

Well the Black officer did go to Milan...He is working for the MPD now...
