A Springtown man was killed and three others seriously injured Sunday evening, May 20, when a Cessna 210 aircraft crashed and burned just half a mile from the pilot's home.

Sunday evening around 7:28 pm, as a pilot tried to land anA aircraft, he clipped a tree, causing the plane to crash and burst into flames.

One person was killed Sunday evening when a small plane crashed near a private airstrip in Wise County.

A small plane went down about 7:30 p.m. on private property southwest of Boyd. No word on injuries yet.
