Billings-based electric co-op refuses to seat Beartooth member, prompting walkout
In a dramatic and chaotic meeting in Billings Friday morning, a Billings-based rural electric cooperative refused to seat the new representative of one of its members, the Beartooth Electric co-op. The Southern Montana Electric Generation & Transmission Cooperative board at first was knotted by a 3-3 tie.
