Local Boy Scouts continue to plan for the 100th anniversary of Scouting next year, organizing events and programs that will kick off early in 2010.

Justin Shane Slater broke into a Clarke County home, killed his ex-girlfriend and stole her credit card last month, according to indictments handed down Monday by a Circuit Court grand jury.

WINCHESTER -- Authorities identified a body found in West Virginia Saturday as that of Kayleigh Marie Plamondon, who had been missing since June 9. Plamondon has been named as the estranged girlfriend of Justin Shane Slater who stands charged with the murder of his brother, Gregory Scott Slater Jr.
