The accident occurred around 6:30 pm on Powerville Road, said Patrolman Tom Cacciabeve, adding that the victim, who was not identified, was taken to Morristown Medical Center. Cacciabeve had no information about his condition.

12 escape injury in Little Falls train crash

A NJ Transit train collided with car carrier that had been apparently stuck on the tracks late Monday night, but all parties walked away unharmed, authorities said. The five-car train, with 11 people aboard, crashed into the tractor trailer carrying six vehicles just near the intersection of Francisco Avenue and Ethel Drive, Fire Chief Jack Sweezy said.

Knife-wielding robbers steal cash from man at Pocono rest stop

A Boonton, N.J. man was robbed of about $200 in the men's bathroom in the rest area on Interstate 80 in Pocono Township on Sep. 7. According to police, the 28-year-old man stopped at the rest stop at mile marker 295 at 11:45 p.m. when an unknown black male walked into the bathroom, gave him a head nod and continued past the victim. A second black male followed and immediately asked the victim for his wallet, which the victim said he didn't have.
