Grave Matters

Full story: Kentucky Living

Call him the History Hunter or Cemetery Sleuth. He's the guy who treks out to weedy, overgrown, varmint-ridden patches of land to find Kentucky 's ancestors, buried in hundreds of family plots all over the state and lost to time or land development, or reclaimed by Mother Nature.

All cemeteries need saving. There are some that are so old that no family ever visits anymore & those are the ones in danger. What you are doing is a good thing. And by the way, you are never too old to fly. God bless you too.

Graveyards are the safest place on earth. No one can hurt you there...that is unless hoodlums are using it for a hangout.

Good job Tom! I being a life long genealogist know how important it is to preserve our cemeteries. I,ve made several trips to Virginia in the past researching and they take great care of their cemeteries. It not only is a helpful tool in learning about your past but theres nothing like going to the grave of a 6th or 7th great grandfather.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Scorpio

The thought of the sales is almost too good to resist today, and you'll jump at the chance to see what's on offer. Even better if you can snap up some bargains at the same time. It's certainly a good day for investing your money carefully, but make sure you aren't more seduced by the reduction in the cost of something than in the item itself. Are you certain that you want to buy it?
