Fugitive sex offender arrested

Convicted sex offender Don Leo Cox Fritzsche was arrested in Bonners Ferry on Thursday afternoon on a federal warrant and is being held in custody at Shoshone County Jail on $100,000 bond.

Small plane crashed at Boundary County airport.

Just reported, at 12:15 7-12-08 A small plane has crashed at the Boundary County Airport. One person has walked away. Details will follow.

Update

12:25 PM Currently, the Sheriff's office is reporting no injuries and no fire.

Fire personnel responded due to leaking fuel from the aircraft. Responding law enforcement units have cleared after taking a report.
