Bonham ISD board filing period to begin Feb. 8
The election filing period for three Bonham school board seats will begin Saturday, February 6, and ends Monday, March 8, at 5:00 p.m. Anyone interested in running for Places 3, 4, and 5 must file by 5:00 pm, March 8. The election is May 8, with early voting from April 26 to May 4, 2010, at the Fannin County Courthouse.

In a rough-and-tumble contest where tempers flared at times, the Bonham Warriors defeated longtime nemesis North Lamar, 36-23. Bonham had an 8-6 advantage after the first quarter, with Bonham senior post T.J. King working hard in the paint to score six of the Warriors' points.
