I found your article most delightful and extremely useful thank you :)
I am a mature student with several years experience working at festivals. I am currently researching how you measure the success of small scale festivals for my dissertation. My focus being on the festivals that make little or no money. These same festivals however do have many wonderful components that make them a huge success, and are repeated year after year with passion and dedictaion of the volunteers and atendee's.
