The 103rd Webster County Fair at Bladen, Nebraska is just around the corner. This is the second year for an earlier start to the fair.

Adams Central High School hosted its prom April 18. Those attending included : Mitch Huffaker, Breanna Bohlen, Michael Walker, Jessica Lindblad, John Lindblad, Brittany McWhirter, April Niederklein, Alex Rostvet, Taylor Kort, Jordan Borrell, Carrie Hohlen and Ben Rosenquist.

The Blue Hill Fitness Center will be sponsoring a 5K Fun Run/Walk Saturday, May 23rd .

Jim Beard, of Superior, was charged with theft in Webster County. Authorities say Beard bounced a check of more than $13,000 for the purchase of cattle at a Blue Hill sale barn on April 21, 2007.

A benefit for Mike & Julie Morganflash and son Andrew Anderson will be held February 1 at the Community Center in Blue Hill.
