MT bus driver resigns

The Miami Trace bus driver who was driving the bus on March 12 that crashed with more than 50 elementary students on board has resigned from the school district as a full-time employee.

James Muncy, of Bloomingburg, was injured in the Friday morning incident.

One person was injured after a crash on State Route 38, Friday morning. Authorities say 21-year-old James Muncy, of Bloomingburg, was northbound on SR 38 when he lost control while negotiating a curve, over-corrected, went off the road, and struck a ditch, causing the vehicle to turn onto its top.
