To the previous posters on this article: what are you personally doing to solve problems like this in our community, apart from bottom feeding in your cynicism and negativity?

You people make me sick hiding behind your keyboards and complaining about our broken court system. The last time one of you got a summons for jury duty did you do your civic duty and go or did you do everything you could to get out of it?
The problem is that the same mammby pammby crybabys show up for jury duty all the time and worry more about ruining a poor boys life by sending him to prison where he belongs than getting justice for the victims of this idiot !

I for one am very proud of you for doing you CIVIL Duty. But it dosn't end there. We all need to vote for judges that will do the right thing. We don't need to vote in judges that call felons and warn them that they are about to be arrested.Civic Duty is a big deal and I don't think lazy Americans get that.
