San Juan County Commission candidates talk trash fees
The three Republican candidates who are challenging incumbent Scott Eckstein for the District 3 commission seat said they will try to overturn commission's decision last summer to impose fees at county-operated transfer stations.

Bloomfield police host bike rodeo
Today is the department's annual Bike and Scooter Rodeo and from 10 a.m. to noon officers from the Bloomfield Police Department will be teaching San Juan Children about bike safety.
