Missing Fisherman Found In Berks County Lake
The body of a missing fisherman was found in a Berks County lake Wednesday.
Divers from Reading Fire Department's Scuba team located the man's body in Lake Ontelaunee Wednesday afternoon, after his wife reported him missing earlier that morning.
Search crews found the victim's car and fishing gear on the lake before dawn.
One local official, Blandon Fire Chief Daniel Miller, said the nearby ice was "very thin" and broken. He said he believes the ice fisherman was in his 70s and had been fishing in that area for about 50 years. Read more
