Full story: Berkshire Eagle Online - Berkshires Week

We have enough money to change how Park Square works. We have enough money to get rid of the stench in West Pittsfield and enough to heavily subsidize a downtown movie theater.

Instead of complaining about budget cuts to the library and getting all the people to sign a pettition, they should volunter there time. The more the better, sometimes you should take matters in your own hands.

Please stop saying that public libraries are free. They are very sophisticated, complicated and expensive operations. Yes, you don't pay to borrow a book, but you have paid via your taxes to buy that book so that it can be shared with thousands of other readers. Yeah, Internet access is of no cost to you - but who pays for it? You do along with every other person in the city! It's an extraordinarily efficient way to use your tax money. Stop saying that volunteers can run a library especially one the size and complexity of the Athenaeum. The training to run the computer systems in a library is intense and has an impact on all the public libraries in the Commonwealth.

Daily Horoscope for March 21

Gemini

By early evening the changing Moon will be sailing through your first house of personality and it's time to make a social comeback. Say 'yes' to invitations, even if you're feeling low this morning. By evening, you will be ready to charm and entertain again. You'll especially enjoy doing something new or attending a cultural event as Neptune makes these things seem more glamorous than everyday activities.
