Blaine / Man pleads guilty to killing girlfriend's ex

A 24-year-old Columbia Heights man pleaded guilty Monday in Anoka County District Court to first-degree manslaughter in the shooting death of his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend. Nicholas Allen Holm killed Jacob Henry Francis Bird outside the Blaine home where Bird was staying in August.
