The Blackstone Blizzard, a girls AAU 7th-grade basketball travel team, will hold tryouts for the coming season on Saturdays, Feb.

Political pressure is mounting surrounding the bill known as "three strikes." The measure, which is pending right now in a Massachusetts legislative conference committee, would give life in prison without parole to offenders convicted three times of certain violent felonies.

The request for expanding the boundaries has not yet got to the secretary. It looked like it would go fast, but it did not go forward.

Grafton's version of "Antiques Road Show" will be at the Grafton Historical Society on Sunday, with residents invited to bring their attic finds for appraisal.
