Full story: Times-Standard

It seems that Bill Sacchi was a man who had some of Humboldt's most influential people at his fingertips -- every time they sat in his barber chair.

What the heck that is such a disrespectful thing someone lost their life in a accent. Bill Sacchi never did anything to deserve such a comment to be made. He was a wonderful member of the Arcata, Hairstyling, and Blue Lake community's. He may of not liked some of the garbage that went on and around the Plaza being a business owner, but he was a good man to all of who knew him.

Speaking of so called "KARMA". Havent you impacted your own Karma negatively by making such a negative statement about a human being who was such a positive person. Thank you Bill for all the stories. I will miss you.

I will miss Bill dearly. My heart felt feelings go out to his family. Bill was my barber for over 15 years. Never once did I have to tell Bill how I wanted my haircut. He just cut it the way he thought it should be, and that was cool. I will miss trading stories and recipes with Bill too. He was one heck of cook. Bill was a kind man, a one of kind barber, and a true friend. I will miss him. We will all miss him.

So sorry to hear of Bill's death. Bill was such a nice caring man. He would come to the race track and bring his grandson with him, walk through the pits and talk with everyone. He would come into our office and let us know what was happening around town. His shop was always the place to be.

Bill, rest in peace and to the family--we also will be praying for God to help you through these difficult times.

Bill and Karen's shop was always entertaining. Ground zero for plazoids, the Don's Donuts crowd, and the gray panthers going to get their perms from Karen and the girls. The younger guys going in to have Danny cut their hair (hang in there buddy)and the older guys going to see Bill. Never a dull moment for conversation and people(?) watching out the front window. The end of an era.
RIP Bill.

Billy was born in 1945 and was 63 years young. He would have been 64 in December. Hopefully the T-S will correct this. And it wasn't just the old guys getting their haircut with Billy. He had many lifelong customers..meaning from 1-2 years old into their 30s, that shows how good he was! And I am certain I didn't have the only husband and son and grandpa who all went to see Billy.

I only knew Bill as my barber for the past ten
years, and he was the best! I enjoyed talking
politics with him and his knowledge, and love, of Arcata stemmed from the fact that he was born
and raised there. How his calm and friendly demeanor will be missed!

Daily Horoscope for December 16

Scorpio

If you're concerned about finding the cash for what usually turns out be an expensive month, the New Moon is the time to start on a budget or some other financial strategy. Try talking to an expert during the coming fortnight, or simply decide to cut down on your expenses. Don't spend so much on presents this year.
