Police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the Beverly Depot commuter rail station this afternoon shortly after 5 for a report of a woman struck by a train.

The Beverly Rotary Club held its "Mystery Dinner" on Oct. 7. Twenty-five North Shore restaurants each agreed to donate 10 dinners for a total of 250 people who met at the Danversport Yacht Club to say hello to old friends and then be whisked away by limousine to their mystery destination.
