Eight animals slept safely Tuesday night after Clermont County authorities rescued them and recovered the remains of at least 10 other horses.

BETHEL, Ohio: Authorities say they found at least three dead horses and removed six live horses along with a pony and donkey from a farm in southwest Ohio.

Several horses have been seized from a home in Clermont County. Sheriff A.J. Rodenberg said animal control served a warrant at 2200 Donald Road in Bethel on Monday after reports that the horses were being neglected.

Animal control and police on the scene right now in Bethel, OH where several horses have been found dead and others are starving.

The Chillicothe Design and Review Board will conduct a regular meeting at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the first-floor conference room of the City Administration Building, 35 S. Paint St.
