I am glad to have the new tower, but I find it amusing that the City Aldermen are taking credit for a tower that isn't in the City limits, and that they had absolutely nothing to do with. Give credit where credit is due, but don't take credit if you didn't have anything to do with it.

I just read the article and I did not see anywhere in there where city officials took credit for it. I did see where they thanked others for the progress. They did NOT pat themselves on the back in this article.

Then why was they in the picture if they did not do anything. Just curious.

City officials, community members, etc., are invited to ribbon cuttings to show support for businesses, not because they had anything to do with it. It is a way of saying thank you on behalf of the city. Also keep in mind that the people in the picture were INVITED by AT&T.

who else should do the inviting besides the one whose tower it is to be.
verizon could care less..... are you pissed because you weren't in the picture ? |
