New details revealed in probe of KSP trooper

Staff Report editor@tribunecourier.com In response to open-records requests, the Kentucky State Police Legal Services branch in Frankfort has released details of the incident that lead to the resignation of Trooper Donald Crawford in late August. An initial offense report says Crawford is accused of first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree official misconduct in connection with an incident that occurred involving a Benton teenager in a parking lot at 750 Dover Road in Grand Rivers on Aug. 17. Crawford is also accused of a second count of first-degree official misconduct involving a Calvert City juvenile.

Armyworms march across Marshall, leaving destruction

Within about 48 hours, he discovered what was taking over his property was far more sinister than a caterpillar.

On September 10, Nathan L. Henson, 25, of Benton, Kentucky was arrested on charges of promoting a sexual performance by a minor under the age of 16. According to the Marshall County, Kentucky sheriff's office, the charges stem from a complaint filed on Aug. 5, 2014.
