Protect and conserve: Bay County police agencies struggle with fuel budgets
"The prices are all over the place, " said Bay County Sheriff John Miller, who had to go back to the county Board of Commissioners to ask for more gas money when the department exceeded its fuel allotment more than three months shy of the fiscal year's end.
