Lancaster County authorities say the father of an 11-year-old boy was cited after the boy reported that he drove his dad and uncle to a bar and back home.

A Bennet, Nebraska man was taken into custody and lodged on charges ranging from Flight to Avoid Arrest to Driving Under the Influence 4th Offense, after leading troopers on a short pursuit.

Troopers chased a Cadillac Escalade at speeds exceeding 100 mph Wednesday when the SUV license plates were reported as stolen.
