Parkersburg police are trying to determine the identity of the driver of a vehicle involved in a high speed multi-state pursuit.

A Washington County judge awarded $1.4 million on Monday to the family of an Athens teen who was stabbed and killed in a fight that broke out at a June 2010 graduation party near Belpre.

Three months after a fire ripped though a Franklin Street home, neighbors said on Friday they were glad to see some recent progress on the clean-up. Also, a Fifth Street home that was subject to at least two break-ins after it was damaged by a December fire was recently razed.

A Belpre father is left facing up to five years in prison after a jury found him guilty Wednesday of all counts related to an October 2010 fire that killed his 2-year-old daughter.

A jury could decide today if a Belpre father is responsible for the death of his 2-year-old daughter by failing to supervise her.
