Two local coal ash facilities targeted for inspection

Now, what they find out will even surprise the powers that be at Duke Power for they have little notice of the ground beneath them. Yes, fans, they been filling gullies with that stuff for fifty years. Fifty years of packed and compacted coal ash, which will loose is relatively harmless but when compacted and condensed turns into something toxic and deadly.

You never know, your house may sit upon it, or your business. And they conveniently have little records of where and when the coal ash was sent.

This is what happens when we let Private Companies manage their own regulations with little oversight from the overseer. They will manage profits a lot quicker than looking at for anyone else.

RIGHT? I mean its kinda what we see around us everyday. Right?

But tis not the only regulation they have skirted for the acid rain is just as bad. They lost the lawsuit and had to comply after years and millions of taxpayer dollars being used to enforce OUR REGULATIONS. Whining the whole time and Cap and Trade, how they will lose money, how they will only hurt our pockets should we decide that a clean environment is desired and required.

Duke Power will blatantly put their OWN EMPLOYEES at risk, do you think they will be overly concerned about anyone else?

Check the wallboard in your house and see what the material is. Did it come from China or another company which uses the "by products" of a coal fired plant. Because it is in just about every house been built in the last two decades.

Who made sure it was safe for you to live with. The industry sponsored Green Building Council? Or was it by the Government? either way how safe is it? cause I can assure the answers will stimulate your mind.

WE HAVE FAILED IN SO MANY WAYS. The Government has failed us because it was bought and paid for by corrupt private industry.

Just like Duke told everybody about asbestos, right? even after medical science detailed the health effects? it took thirty years to make them stop lying to the Publick. My Peoples.

If you want to trust Duke Power its your business but I have a family history that would call you a fool for it. They are snakes and liars and always have been. Where did they GET THE NAME. Think about it.

Now why has there been an increase in toxic mold in houses and commercial construction in the past 20 years. ASK A Remediation Specialist about it. If they know, they will tell you the wallboard. THe Wallboard does it every time. This KIND of wallboard.

ZCoupla key points. Long term effects. ANd how PURE is the byproduct when used in the wallboard. IN other words, they get out the sulfur dioxide but many more dangerous chemicals are in the by product to begin with.

How many dry wall people you know. Been doing it long? how is their health. Betcha they have some health problems. I have known many. Mostly Mexicans who breath it in like air or Rednecks with substance abuse problems.

Wrong answer. The type and length of exposure is the key. And how you are exposed will dictate the health problems.

Anything from respiratory to cancer to neurological and immune problems once again dictating the type of exposure.

Is it selenium, silica, radiation (yep-radiation).

The problem is not in the loose sediment of coal ash but the concentration of it. AS in compacting the coal ash to fill gullies around the river and/or lakes. It then seeps into the drinking water.

Why do you think they have them where they have them? Even they are scared of it contaminating the water.

Why do you think South Carolina is suing this state? Its about the amount of water and the quality of the water.

And one of the main polluters of the river is Duke Power along with the textile companies. AS in as you see the mill families have considerable historical influence. As in nobody has really been watching.

The water quality report is a joke and so is the recent EIS Report from the DOT about the impact of the toll road.

Connectivity and Mobility are nothing more than negatives for the river and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out.

It does take two eyes and some common sense. The kind of sense one might see in a teenager and most of them I talk to have that amount of sense in their head.

Maybe you should weigh the local health hazzards related to the ash site of the time frame of the sight..
