Crawford County Soil and Water Conservation District hosted its first countywide day conservation camp Tuesday at Aumiller Park in Bucyrus.

Two people were served drug-related summonses during a raid at a home at 4805 Bott Road in Bellville Tuesday by the Metrich Enforcement Unit.

Officers seized numerous marijuana plants, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, equipment used for a distillery, and several jars of suspected moonshine.

MANSFIELD - At their regular meeting Tuesday, Richland County commissioners approved $250,000 worth of Community Development Block Grant proposals for projects including a new roof for a Bellville community center, $50,000 for Richland County Transit and the continuation of an emergency home repair program.
