A homeless man jailed in Boone County for the murder of another homeless man has been freed, with prosecutors saying the evidence pointed in a different direction.

A homeless man in Boone County is arrested and charged with murder. Deputies arrested 49-year-old Carl Pederson and charged him with first degree murder in the death of Robert Horton, Junior.

Sheriff Danny Hickman said an employee of Pack's Lumber found the body Thursday morning and that the body had several injuries.

An automobile occupied by Coach Jerry Dalrymple and five Arkansas State Teachers College basketball players, returning to Conway last night from Bellefonte, where the Bears played two games yesterday, was sideswiped by a car driven by a Marshall man, and both machines were wrecked.
