Elections must be around the corner

Is it just my house or have you been inundated this past week with flyers, newsletters, e-mails and other notices to elect this person or that person or vote - or not vote - for this issue and that issue on Election Day? I appreciate the Voter's Guide and really can do without all the trees they kill to get that information out.
