Officer shoots fleeing suspect

Now this a good example of what cops should do when criminals don't cooperate or follow rules. Nobody died, criminal was aprehended, end of story. Glad the officer was not hurt!

Maybe LBPD can learn something from bell gardens P.D. If this suspect was in LONG BEACH he would have been shot multiple times and killed.

That is the big problem. You people always thinking that the "poor" criminal is a victim. Wise up an call it how it is. If more police officers shot at these low life criminals it would be less of a problem.

Do I smell a lawsuit? The piece of crap is probably going to sue the police dept. Just like that ignorant a$$ family who cant understand why their criminal son died after breaking into a home armed with a gun.

You couldnt have said it better. The family wants justice served. Justice has been served. That is one less criminal on our streets. How dare they rally and support a criminal. It just shows ignorance that they cant understand why the "poor baby" died.

The officer needs to go back to the shooting range and practice. The bad guy should not be breathing right now and not be able to sue. That cop is a good cop and a Iraq war hero. I bet if Bell Gardens had more female officers, we could have talked him out of his criminal rage.

There is always two sides of every story...one the police and the other is the victim. Then there is the truth... they didn't even have enough guts to come to the family to speak to them about what had happen. Instead they put it in the paper so everyone can read about the untruth....not everything is black and white..... and what makes them pass by the house of the family and laugh.... isn't that a crime in itself? They need to remember they aren't Gods .....
