Just another way to lower property values, if you ask me.
Ever wonder why people go feral and stay in that condition?Maybe because they choose; to live that life? |

Yeah, except lots of those homeless CHOSE to be homeless. How ya gonna FORCE them into housing?
Bunch of BS. |

The survey of four individuals found that it cost taxpayers $107,032 to provide housing and other benefits to a homeless person for two years, compared with $187,288 for those living in the street.
HOW ABOUT THEY GET A JOB instead of us paying $55K a year? If they are too sick to get a job, institutionalize them til they are rehabilitated. "As we realize the economic impact of homelessness in Los Angeles and beyond, we need to continue driving the programs that will eradicate homelessness and poverty in Los Angeles County," Buik said. "It's an uphill battle, with foreclosures up and over half (the people) spending more than 30 percent of their income on housing." Move them to the desert. Plenty of room and cheap land there. |

If people have "mental" problems and either can't or won't take care of themselves then we should open up the old Sate run Mental Hospitals that the Liberals made us close down. Surely they were better off in there than out on the streets where they just run up bills that all of us have to pay.$187,288 to keep 4 homeless bums on the street!....lol....Liberalism is a Mental Disorder!

There are as many reasons for being homeless as there is for getting a divorce, or not paying your bills, or not seeing a doctor when necessary, or not going to work everyday, or school. Get the point.
I hope so because if you understand this then you have to understand that no one problem is going to solve the homeless situation. But one of the main problems are the social programs that enable homeless people to stay homeless. Sure they always say that their goal is to get them off the street but in reality less than .05% get housed in Santa Monica. Another reason is look at the food lines and you will rarely see skinny people, most are fat or way overweight. It's impossible to go hungry in Santa Monica. So what do we want to do? Keep them on the streets awaiting homes and feed them to death? Or do we want to do what Jesus says. "Teach them to fish." Give them shelter and teach them to be self reliant. If they will not be taught they will be given bus tickets to another town. SIMPLE. |
