At least two state agencies will review the case of a series of artificially inflated school projects that cost Bernards taxpayers at least $2.1 million, after the arrest of four individuals, including a manager who worked for the school district's facilities-management vendor.

The Somerset County Prosecutor's Office has arrested and charged four men from the Shore area after a more than year-long investigation, alleging they bilked the Bernards School District out of more than $2 million - money that has since been reimbursed.
