The National Weather Service has issued a severe storm warning for much of Forsyth County and parts of Davidson County.The warning ends at 10:15 p.m. The storm was first spotted about 8:15 p.m. near Arcadia, about 10 miles southwest of Winston-Salem. It is moving east at about 25 miles per hour.

The Madison Board of Aldermen unanimously agreed April 12 to move forward with installation of the PAX system in the town's clearwell at the water plant and also in the elevated water tank off N.C. 704.
