Tatter Slowinski and her dog were strolling through a wooded area of St. Matthews Community Center Park on a newly revamped walking path recently when they stopped to investigate a turtle crossing the path.

MSD has threatened to withhold $277,002 from a contractor over unresolved damage claims from Beechwood Village residents related to a $3.4 million sewer improvement project.

The Ohio River is forecasting to continue to rise a few feet, which will put it about 10 feet above flood stage.

"Sewer overflow warning" -- that's the message some residents in the Beechwood Village neighborhood got from MSD Wednesday morning.
