Mitchell Man Arrested After Fleeing From Police
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley officers were called about a man who had a suspended driver's license for life operating a vehicle near the Parkview track. Officers couldn't find 28-year-old Raymond Marshall at that location, but he was spotted a short time later.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 29-year-old Ashley Boyd was traveling west on Ind. 158 and had slowed her 1997 Honda Civic because of the rain.
Bedford Woman Suffers Pain After Crash
According to a Bedford Police report, 35-year-old Shannon Jones, of 1728 I St., told police she was traveling south in the right hand lane on Mitchell Road to go to Arby's when a 2000 Dodge Caravan, driven by 34-year-old Sarah Roberts pulled out from the east side of 25th Street into the path of her 2004 Chrysler Sebring. Roberts, of 45 Eastside Lane, told police she had checked both ways before pulling across Mitchell Road and thought it was safe to proceed.

Two Arrested After Stealing Items At Dollar General
Bedford Police officers arrested 34-year-old Jeremy Gulley, of Heltonville and 21-year-old Melissa Andis, of 306 R St. According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers were called to the store at 4:35 Monday after a report that a man and woman had been in the store and employees witnessed the woman stick several items into her bag. When officers arrived the two had left the store.

Bedford Man Suffers Injuries After Hit By Car
A 79-year-old Bedford man suffered head and hip injures after he was hit by a car while crossing the street Tuesday morning. According to a Bedford Police report, Frederick Bruhy, of 1823 G St., was crossing the road at H Street when he was struck by a 2004 Ford driven by 38-year-old Bridet Stillions, of 445 Guthrie Rd. According to a Bedford Police report, Stillions was stopped on16th Street, facing west at the H Street intersection.

One Injured In Two-Vehicle Crash
According to a Bedford Police report, when police arrived they found 21-year-old Alexandra Cobb, of Springville, lying across the front seats bleeding from her head, nose and mouth. According to police, 63-year-old Georgetta Vaught, of 627 Broomsage Rd., was traveling north on R Street and had approached the intersection of R and 8th streets when Cobb came through the intersection traveling east on 8th Street.

Data Breached At 11 Goodwill Stores Including Bedford Store
Goodwill stores across the country were impacted by a malware that exposed payment card information, including the stores in Bedford, Salem and Seymour. Goodwill officials say they have received a "very limited number of reports" of fraudulent use of the debit and credit cards connected to Goodwill customers' stores.

Woman Suffers Fractures After Losing Control Of Vehicle On Vinegar Hill Road
BEDFORD) - A woman was injured after she lost control of her car on Vinegar Hill Road Saturday at 5:47 p.m. According to a Lawrence County Police report, 34-year-old Audra Baldwin, of Rivervale Cabin Rd., was traveling west on Vinegar Hill Road, about 42000 feet east of I Street, when she crested a hill and lost control of her 2010 Hyundai Accent.
