Historic Beckville home destroyed in fire

The home which was over 100 years old caught fire around 11pm Friday night. Beckville fire officials arrivied within minutes to see the two story, five bedroom home engulfed in flames.

I20E bridge near Marshall deemed safe following fiery wreck

All lanes are back open on Interstate 20 at the FM 31 interchange east of Marshall are back open after Thursday's fiery collision of two semi-trucks. Truck driver 35-year-old Andrew Mayfield of Beckville, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene.
