The Beaverton School District Nutrition Services Department is sponsoring a Summer Food Service Program from June 18 - August 17, 2012 to provide meals to children ages 18 years and younger at no charge.

A Beaverton seventh-grader took top honors at the second annual Oregon Invitational Spanish Spelling Bee, held at the Forest Grove School District administration office on Main Street Tuesday morning.

Mayor Denny Doyle will be attending the next Neighborhood Association Committee meeting on Thursday, March 22 at 7 p.m. at the Edgewood Downs Retirement Center to give a city update for 2012.
