County schools receive state honor

Beaverdam Elementary School and Mechanicsville Elementary School are among 92 schools in Virginia to receive the designation of "Title I Distinguished Schools." Those two schools represent Hanover County Public Schools, according to a report recently released by the Virginia Board of Education.
