Raleigh County Firefighter Claims VFD Chief Hit Him

Does this really surprise anyone? Im sure he will get away with it just like he does everything else.. He needs to be put in jail and stay there forever hes nothing but a trouble maker....

No one is suprised at all that he has done this again, I'm sorry someone had to get hurt. Everyone has been saying for a long time that he needed to be removed as chief of the fire dept. More peolple need to come foward and express there concerns.

He is always making the news for something wrong! I can't believe he is able to remain in the firefighting field. Why hasn't anyone done anything to get him out of there.

i figure he will get by with it again like always it is a shame the other firefighter didn't do nothing to deserve this i guess he was the intelligent one in the matter.it must be against the law to park in a parking lot in bradley now,if that's the case i guess alot of innocent people will get thumped on

I used to live in bradley glad I moved, he has always been known as the Trouble Maker, seems like they could remove him or something

I Think He Should Be Thrown Off The Dept. Because This Is a Disgrace To The Fire Dept. Something Needs To Be Done Before He Hurts Someone Bad,Not Swept Under The Rug Like Always Before.

There is a Code of Ethics you go by and obviously he hasn't ever heard of it, maybe other firefighters should let him in on the "Code". By all the other comments on here, I think everyone is on the right page! Remove him...

i think he should be removed and stripped of his command and be arrested and prosecuted to the full extent of the law he should have to serve a serious jail sentence this isn't his first time in these kinda of charges checkk it out search his name you be surprised what you find!(Course most of here expected this behavior) he is no stranger toa court room its time the citzen's of this community take back there fire dept and demand his immediate removal and he serve time for his crimes once and for all !!!!!!

what is it going to take to get this time bomb of a chief known as bruce james out of service and behind bars for all of his wrong doings.. such as assaulting a fellow firefighter from another department, letting his own firemen use gear at least 12 years old and putting them in more danger than they should be when entering a house fire, and riding in trucks that are not up to code. bruce james has been a loose cannon in the bradley community for way to long and its time we stand up and do something about it so the people of bradley can have a fire department that will be once again recognized by all

This is rediculous, the man should of been removed along time ago. What willl he get away with next? He makes other chiefs look bad in the eye of the public but to us brothers we know the truth, he is a bad seed and needs to be gone. He is definitely not part of the Brotherhood, because brothers dont hit brothers!!!

Being very familiar with this department I would just like to add that he gets away with this not only because he is President of the Board of Directors and Chief of the fire department, giving him total control, but he is also friends with several law enforcement officials, people at the state fire marshalls office, etc. This man has no clue what a code of ethics is... if you heard the way he talks to the firemen that VOLUNTEER their time with him you would wonder why they continue to give their time. It's no wonder it struggles with membership. Honestly though if you come forward and state the facts be prepared to wind up in court with a lawsuit staring you down.

It sounds like the Bradley fire Dept. &#9824;needs to clean house. Bruise James is like a rabid beaver Its funny funny when you see it but when you think about it; it's just plain sad. For all you firefighters out there "Si vis pacem, para bellum"

Are we serious? This is absolutely insane. Someone please tell me why he is still the chief of Bradley. He desperately needs to be removed before we have to respond to a call where he has either killed or severely injured someone. & have you seen the bunker gear he's got them wearing? I've seen Swiss cheese with less holes in it.

I have seen the news and heard all the rumors, I agree with all of you on this one, just remove him, or doesn't he know they make resignation letters! We could all help type one up for him and let him sign.

yet again he is on the news doing something totally ignorant and making a fool out of his department he needs to be charged and locked up but as usual he'll slip through the cracks. he doesnt want fireman at his department so i've heard he just wants bingo hall attendants and free labor its time for a change.

i know this "other firefighter" that he hit personally and i can honestly understand punching that little BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP in the mouth but i dontknow about this bradley cheif maybe he is a prick who knows im just saying i could see punching the one who got punched

the cheif of a dept is supposed to set a good example, he's the leader of men and what kind of example is he setting by attacking another fireman, for anyone to think that bruce should not be in jail needs to look hard at themselves, this man has done this before and continues to do it, hell he's out on bond for same thing except he didn't assualt a man but a woman. people need wake up

It concerns me greatly to read that the Chief of this organization has hit one of his own. I hear bad things about this man all of the time. I have also seen the "teenagers" responding to calls that look like they are having a fire drill with no training and kids in the fire trucks. I guess this is what my hard earned tax dollars are getting. The man needs to be removed and someone to come in and clean house, train the volunteers and have a fire department that the community can respect. Its all about respect people so get this man out of there.
